Nigeria: N4 Billion Cocaine Haul - Suspects Arraigned in Court, Detained

Lagos — Six suspected drug barons, including a Taiwanese national charged to court by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) for importing cocaine worth over N4 billion pleaded not guilty at a Federal High Court yesterday.

The NDLEA had slammed a four-count charge on the suspects, including illegally dealing in hard drugs, importation of banned substances and trafficking in illicit drugs asking for a maximum penalty against the suspects.
