Angola: Parliament Speaker at Gabon Independence Anniversary

Luanda — The speaker of National Assembly, António Paulo Kassoma, left the Angolan capital this afternoon for Libreville, to attend Gabon's 50th anniversary of independence on Tuesday.

The Angolan first deputy speaker of Parliament, João Lourenço, bid farewell to Paulo Kassoma at international airport "4 de Fevereiro".

The anniversary of Gabon's festivity in Libraville will be marked during civil and military parade, which counts on participation of various African leaders invited by Gabonese president, Ali Bongo Ondimba.

Gabon gained independence from France on August 17, 1960.
