Nigeria: Missing $236,000 - Osawaro, Musbau Recalled

Those indicted by the committee of inquiry set up to inquire and proffer advice on the missing $236,000 from the coffers of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have been recalled to their various establishments. Some of them were on secondment from other federal government agencies.

The latest casualties among those indicted by the committee and asked to vacate their posts at the NFF, and report to their respective offices, where they had been seconded from are head of accounts, Mr. Osawaro Oyewase and chief accountant of the football federation, Alhaji Kayode Musbau. Both had earlier been quizzed by men of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), following the removal of the former three principal officers of the football house namely; Sani Lulu Abdullahi, Taiwo Ogunjobi and Amanze Uchegbulam, on alleged financial misappropriation.
