Meanwhile the MDC is facing more harassment in connection with the constitutional outreach in Masvingo. The police at Masvingo central arrested Jani Varandeni, the MDC MP for Bikita South, on Thursday morning after he reported there to ask what progress had been made in the case involving violent attacks by war vet Jabulani Sibanda, who had terrorized the area. Varandeni signed a warned and cautioned statement and was released on bail till his court appearance on Monday.
Describing the incident, MDC-T organizing secretary for Masvingo, Tongai Matutu, said it was a case of the "police turning a victim into the accused". Matutu, who is also the Deputy Minister for Youth, Gender and Development, said: "The police are now hunting down MDC activists, members, supporters and officials left, right and center."
Masvingo Ward 4 councilor, Daniel Muchuchutu, and the director of elections, Muranganwa Chanyahwa, were arrested on Wednesday and remain in custody in Masvingo, accused of disrupting a ZANU PF meeting related to the constitutional outreach program. They appeared in court Thursday morning but the magistrate said he was not ready for the case. The two were then remanded in custody until Friday.
Police are reported to be hunting down five more MDC officials who they claim were involved in the same incident. Their list includes Matutu, Bikita East MP Edmore Marima, Bikita West MP Heya Shoko, Zaka North MP Ernest Mudavanhu and Zaka Senator Mishek Marava.
Matutu said the police cannot possibly be looking for him as he is a minister who goes to work every day and they know where to find him. He told SW Radio Africa that all five MDC officials on the wanted list would report to Masvingo central police on Monday.
The MDC official repeated his belief that the arrests are an attempt by ZANU PF to block them from mobilizing and educating their supporters ahead of the constitutional outreach meetings in the area. Matutu explained that MDC activists were being targeted in order to silence them. He advised Zimbabweans not to let ZANU PF hijack their constitution.

It is strange that MDC-T wants to be left to mobilize and educate their supporters ahead of the constitutional outreach meetings" but they do not want the same for other parties, especially ZANU-PF. When ZANU-PF does the same ("mobilizing and educating their supporters") they are said to be interfering with the outreach programme - telling its supporters what to say at the meetings.
Is this not a question of a leopard enjoying pulling others through the mud but when the same is done to it, it cries saying that its spots are getting dirty. This is typical of cowards; those with no stamina; the cry-babies. They always complain because they know that they do not have the support they claim to have and the only way to attract the attention of their masters is to allege violence.
Cde Jabulani Sibanda has not beaten anyone and no one has been influenced to beat another because of their leaning, but what do we hear? ZANU-PF violence, harassment, interference, intimidation and what have you. We are now used to these stupid complaints coming from stupid and idiotic morons that do not have the support they claim to have.
Cde Jabulani said; "come election time 'we' ", meaning ZANU-PF, " want to swat Tsvangirai on a bus window like a fly". I do not see anything wrong with that statement and there is nothing threatening about it because that is what elections are all about - they are about crashing your enemies at the ballot. However, MDC-T was all over and was head-over-heels alleging that Cde Jabulani want to assassinate the sellout, which is totally not true and is out of context with the issue that the War Veterans leader was discussing.
Is this statement by Cde Jabu the same as saying "Go peacefully or we will remove you violently"? Is Cde Jabu's statement comparable to the one by senior thug, Biti, that Dr Gideon GONO was "Al Qaeda number one" thus should be put before a "firing squad"? Is Cde Jabu's speech comparable to the one by Tsvangirai that called on Zimbabweans to go for a "Final Push to State House" to oust President "violently"?
I think not and we on here should always take everything that this puppet party says with a grain of salt. Not everything they say is true because they are out to demonize ZANU-PF in the vein hope of fulfilling their masters' regime change agenda.
To prove my point we do not need to look any further than in this article (which was published in an MDC-T mouth-piece). The people, who included Deputy Minister Matutu, are being sought by the police for disrupting a "ZANU-PF meeting related to the constitutional outreach program". After committing a serious crime they play victim when in actual fact they are the perpetrators of violence.
The same thing happened soon after the consummation of the Unity Government whereby MDC-T thugs went on a violent spree, killing and maiming ZANU-PF members and supporters alleging that they (MDC-T thugs) were going about "recovering their property" taken by ZANU-PF supporters during the June 2008 Presidential run-off. It was later proved to be totally false as the victims of MDC-T violence were never involved in the said violence.
The question that must be upper most in our minds is that; if you know that your stolen property is with so and so why go to recover it alone, without the involvement of the police who are the legitimate and constitutionally mandated law enforcement agents? This is because it is all a lie meant to justify their thuggish behavior.
This is not the time for such barbaric behavior? This is a time to convince the people to vote for you and if you have nothing to tell them, the people will abandon you for a party with better policies. Many of those who voted and had come to support the puppet party have realized that this party is only a front for imperialists.
They now know that all the hardships and sufferings they are enduring are because of this stooge party which was created by the CIA and MI6 with funds from the Westminster Foundation. They have realized that they have now wasted valuable time voting for a party that has nothing to offer them. That is why we have so many of the so-called MDC-T supporters leaving that party en mass to re-join ZANU-PF.

George, tell me one country in the world that hasn't beat on her citizens?? Please tell me one?? During the sixties, USA has beating on her citizens when she went to war in Vetname. During the cold war, most Europeans countries were beating on their citizens because they wanted their citizens to abide with the rules, laws and regulations; so, my question is: why not any countries in Africa if that country is about to prosper her citizens must abide by the rules, laws, and regulations.
