Luanda — Gabon's ambassador to Angola, Emile Mandoukou-Ma-Nziengui, Thursday in Luanda stressed the Angolan solidarity policy toward Gabon, specially in difficult moments.
The ambassador Mandoukou-Ma-Nziengui said this to Angop in the light of 50th anniversary of his country's independence, celebrated on 17 August.
While characterising bilateral relations in all fields, between Angola and Gabon, the diplomat spoke of spirit of solidarity shown by the Angolan Executive, which became evident over the years, mainly, before and after the death of then President Omar Bongo Ondimba, who marked the country's history.
"On the death of President Omar Bongo, the Angolan counterpart Eduardo dos Santos, sent immediately his country's prime minister, Paulo Kassoma, at the time, to share the pain with Gabonese people", stressed Emile Mandoukou-Ma-Nziengui. According to him, the bilateral relations are also marked by the exchanging of high level delegations.
As example, he mentioned the recent trip to Libreville, of an Angolan delegation, headed by the Parliament Speaker, Paulo Kassoma, at the celebrations of 50 years of independence of that Central Africa Country. On social and economic field, stress goes to existing protocols at the level of education, oil, finances (through BGFIBANK -a Gabonese private bank operating in Luanda).
