The Congress for Democratic Change (CDC) presidential hopeful, Mr. George Weah, is being portrayed walking totally butt naked in an advertisement for Roberts Noir, a men’s fragrance product in Italy.
Although the promotional video was made in 1996, that is before Mr. Weah, a football icon, declared his intent to be president, it comes after a heated debate on morality, mainly with government officials at the center.
The video scene portrays white women, in looks of sexual awe and estacy, glancing at the black man with his athletic and muscular features, exposing his genitals flipping, walking before them.

The video starts with a smiling Weah lavishingly slapping the fragrance on his face and arm pits. Then he is seen walking into an upscale restaurant, handsomely attired in a black toxedo suit with bow tie, to meet his white dinner date. The camara pans in on two beautiful white women at the bar who spot Weah , with one of them saying in Italian: “oh! It’s George Weah..” From the entrance, Mr. Weah, in fulfing the women’s lustful imagination, is then seen butt naked strutting accrosss the room filled with dinner couples. As he passes a waitress, she exclaims, “Wow!” It is not clear whether she is saying “wow” because of the Robert Noir fragrance or his naked, athletic and seductive body. He reaches his dinner date, lingers over her, still naked, before taking his seat and now he is dressed as when he first walked into the restaurant.
“Tutto bene”, Weah says to his dinner date with a smile before the camera fades out and shows the fragrance Weah is promoting.
‘Tutto bene’ is an Italian for: ‘All’s well’ or ‘it’s all good’ or ‘so good’. You will find that it is often used at meal time hence the common use of the expression in names of Italian restaurants and eateries.
CDC Acting General Secretary Acarius Gray told this paper Wednesday that he, personally has never seen the promotional video but its publication will ony help to make Mr. Weah popular amongst voters, especially women voters. “Only constitutional deviants should not be elected,” he said, adding that “Mr Weah committed no crime by posing butte naked.”
In moral considerations, we have covered the naked body parts. Readers interested are directed to: il.youtube.com/watch?v=bYIfGT6OYfg&feature=related, or type in browser “George Weah Promotional Video, Roberts Noir” Parental guidance requested.

This should not be much of a problem considering Weahs status at the time the promotional video was made. The question should be, did Weah consider his present decision of wanting to lead a nation like Liberia one day before doing the commercial. The wrong answer will let the Liberian people to know that Weah is and has always been one selfish person. And a person his kind, should not be trusted. This is just what the CDC Acting General Secretary Acarius Gray told this paper, but just in a carefully chosen words. Acarius is right that Weah committed no crime, but what about moral considerations? As we say in Liberia; if your house doesnt sell you, the street cannot buy you. If our Leaders do not set a standard for themselves, how will they ever make laws to prevent child pornographic and other moral issues that are hot topics in the west?
henry kweh, thank u we know your type of person u are,u are butt licking type.how could u even mension of trust n selfish,n placing MR.WEAH in that position.your words of untrustworthy n selfishness should that being directed at the presence government of sirleaf n her cahorts instead of MR.WEAH,because he had not in no time revealed any untrustworthy character or selfishness to the liberian populace but this presence government did,the auditing commitee of liberia had exposed many corruptions cases n charge the person involve with the proceeding but only to see the chief thief sirleaf have got them off hook,by using her executive power, that for sure are untrustworthy n selfish attitude on her part n her rebel gang goverment.all those ppl.we see now working with this government are ppl.with self high degree n diplomat holder from the country they all holds second passport to n have all the best houses, cars, saving n good business their n the majority of liberian lives on less than a dollar a day, then u expect us calling them trustworthy n patriot?please henry take a look arround u,liberia 165yrs or so,from the previous goverment n now the most had been ppl. of higher degree of education n diplomat as they are high in those area of education n so they are equally so high in corruption n exploitation of the masses for their own self greed,n instead u called MR.WEAH selfish n untrusted person who are u really?all those ppl.in this gover.before this gover.they was secruity guards, watch mans, car washers, shop keepers n many others local jobs, etc.and now they come to liberia proving thug, bunch of thiefs check their saving out if u could u definally apologies to MR.WEAH for your sally n outraged remarks.this governmemt is nothing but another taylor gangs styles of government, moreover they arn´t cares less about liberian well being for nothing least.tell sirleaf n her bunch of theif n looter the time is ripe,we are tired of them in any way like them go n manege what they had aready looted if not we shall see the coming election, victory is CDC.
Mr. Donzoe I understood your anger but let us not take this anger on every Liberian who wants to come back home and contribute to this great land. I also understood that some came back home, and they are misusing government funds but that's the game of government. It's the president and public responsibility to point those bad seeds out.
Although some are corrupt which is the bad fruits of government in every country, many Liberian living abroad are making progress in Liberia. They are building houses, owning businesses, and helping to educate friends and loveones. So, we should not always point fingers to those that are coming from abroad.
The Sirleaf government has some good records to show and many bad records as well. One of the bad records is re-appointing corrupt government official as if to say Liberia does not have qualify men and women available. And one good thing about this government is the international contact that continues to pull in money to uplift the development of the country.
Let put the nake advertisement aside. When comes to the Weah issue, I still can't find him qualified to lead this great nation.
This is exactly my point; if Weah ever happened to win, Liberia will just be stepping back in her sad past that got us where we are in the first place. Point zero. At this time, the last thing Liberia needs is another remote-controlled leader. Let's face it... the man is not even fit to represent a community not to talk of a nation. Sad, sad, sad. By the way, how was his study? He is missing the point. Book does not lead a Nation. It takes Wisdom and character. And honestly, that boy has none.
In Weah's own words: "We were a young party, organized just four months before the election of 2005." The Liberian people recognized Weah's political immaturity in 2005. Now they have seen Ellen Sirleaf's work. There's absolutely no chance for Weah to defeat the incumbent. After the CDC's sounding defeat once again in 2011, Weah will cry ballot stuffing once again as he did in 2005.
Ellen has brought Liberia from it's self imposed ashes and Liberians are enjoying a relative peace and some prosperity. That continuity is of peace and development, by God's willing will not go in vain. The CDC will be defeated in 2011.
