Luanda — The inauguration of the chess academy at Juventude em Luta school, set for Saturday in Luanda, was postponed for August 28.

This was said by the secretary general of the Angola Chess Federation (FAX), Abraão dos Reis.

Speaking to ANGOP, the federation official clarified that the postponement is due to the absence of FAX's chairman, Aguinaldo Jaime, who is abroad.

Luanda has three chess academies based at Luanda Industrial High School (IMIL), 21 de Janeiro school and at 17 de Dezembro High Institute.
