Asmara — The Eritrean soccer team has beaten its Rwandan counterpart 1-0 in the CECAFA Cup under 20, thus advancing to the finals.

The national team scored a penalty kick in the second half of the match that took place today at the Asmara Stadium.

The Eritrean soccer team would face the wining team in the match between the Kenyan and Ugandan teams due to be held tomorrow.
