Africa: Eritrea in Cecafa Under-20 Final

Asmara — CAPTAIN Abraham Tendros scored a 73rd minute penalty to give hosts Eritrea a narrow win over a hard fighting Rwanda in the first semi final match of the Cecafa Under-20 football tournament in Asmara on Wednesday.

Zanzibar referee Waziri Sheha awarded the kick after Rwanda defender Rusheshangoga Michel handled from the goal-line after his goalkeeper Marcel Nzarora had been beaten.

Eritrea will play Saturday's final against Thursday's winner of the match between defending champions Uganda and Kenya.

Rwanda will play for third place against the loser the match between Kenya and Uganda.
