Gambia: Another Star On the Rise

Mo is another Gambian star currently doing great in world music scene.

The 20 year-old born and raised in The Gambia, at the age of 5, surprised every body with his singing and artistic talents. Been through so many struggles, he finally left the Gambia for the US with his family at the age of 14, where he fully began music.Five years later, he signed a distribution deal with an independent label called Sonicwave International.

According to Gambia Talents Promotions based in the United States, this promising artist is known for having and bringing his own creative style into his music. He creates his own music and songs on his computer and has succeeded in recruiting couple of other artistes to work together with him in developing his song, writing skills and on the mic. On soundclick.com, fans of Mo are reviewing his music saying, Â"you got some tight beatz, they are hot. You got some real talent. Keep it upÂ", another fan says Â"hey Mo I was just listening to your single "pop dat booty" and its BANGIN! For real and that are just a few messages from MoÂ's fans.

Mo has got many recognitions on the internet alone, his song titled Â"Pop that bootyÂ" has been and is still number ONE on the R&B charts and on museeks.com for over a year now, and was also rated a 4star artist on cornerband.co. He even made a performance for the July 4th celebration 2005 in Atlanta. With his unique and artistic way of making music,he is definitely an artist you have to watch out for from the Motherland Â"Mama AfricaÂ".
