Harare — The General Inspector of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA), general Rafael Sapilinha Sambalanga is expected Sunday in Harare, Zimbabwe to preside over the ordinary meeting of the Defence Inspectors of the Southern Africa Development Community, scheduled from August 30 to September 3.
At the meeting, Rafael Sambalanga, in quality of the chairperson of group of SADC defence inspector along with other members, will conduct balance of the activities carried out by the team, during the one-year rotating presidency held by Angola, set to end this August.
The meeting will be marked by the transfer of portfolio by Angolan inspector to his Zimbabwean counterpart.
Also expected Sunday in Zimbabwe are inspectors from Mozambique, South Africa, Botswana and Zambia.
The defence inspectors are tasked to check the use of human and financial resources and make them available to the Stand-By Force staff of SADC.
