M'banza Kongo — Eight children choir groups from various Christian congregations participated in religious song festival in M'banza Kongo, northern Zaire province, to celebrate the 68th birthday of the head of Angolan State, José Eduardo dos Santos.

Jointly promoted by the local Government and the National Children Institute (INAC), the cultural event was attended by Government officials, religious entities and members of political parties.

On a message read out on the occasion by INACs's official, José Manuel Antonio, local children praised the commitment and role played by president José Eduardo dos Santos in the promotion of Angolan children's wellbeing.
