Somalia: Unreliable Calm Has Returned to War Zones in the Capital Mogadishu

Mogadishu — Unreliable calm has returned to war zones in the Somali capital Mogadishu, just after six days of continuous fighting between the transitional government of Somalia backing by AMISOM and Harakat Al-shabab Mujahideen fighters.

Sources said that there had been calm situation in parts of Hodan district where there had been heavy fighting with shelling that caused the lives of more people and caused closure of an important street in the capital.

There were also military movement in the war zones of the capital mainly the side of the transitional government of Somalia and Harakat Al-shabab Mujahideen in Hodan district.

On the other side more people could be seen displacing from some of the districts near the area where the clashes had repeatedly continued in over the pats 6 days in Mogadishu.
