Some residents of Montserrado County District #7, Paynesville have become pulling in with support for representative hopeful Godfrey Mulbah ahead of the Elections.
Several of the residents who made the open declaration at a town hall meeting that took place at the Paynesville Central Academy recently, said Godfrey Mulbah was the right persons they have built a confidence in to head them come 2011 due to his leadership ability.
The town hall meeting which brought together residents of the district from all walks of life was organized by the Friends of Godfreey Mulbah, a social and humanitarian group organized by supporters of the representative hopeful to foster his development and political agenda.
The group is chaired by Jefferson Blake.
Addressing his supporters at the town hall meeting, representative hopeful Godfrey Mulbah said he has decided to join the race to bring the needed development to the district.
When asked what has he done in the district that could encourage the people to vote him into office, he said he has built schools and offered several scholarships to deserving students including women group to build their capacities and hope to do more if the people of the district elect him to represent them.
Mr. Godfrey Mulbah an instructor of economics at the University of Liberia was a contender for the representative seat of the district in the 2005 elections on the ticket of the National Reformation Party (NRP).
He narrowly lost to the incumbent representative Thomas Fallah of the CDC with less than 2% pf the total vote cast.
According to him, he was not discouraged because it was not his time to serve but now is the time.
Meanwhile, representative hopeful Godfrey Mulbah has disclosed that the group, Friends of Godfrey Mulbah will soon embark on a number of initiatives in district # 7 to include clean up campaign, identifying children who are out of school for possible assistance among others.
