Angola: Suzana Carlos Wins 3rd National Child Song Festival

Ondjiva — Child singer Suzana Carlos, 11, from Luanda province, Sunday won in Ondjiva, Cunene province, the 3rd National Child Song festival 2010, with a song titled "INAC".

She won the 1st place with 256 points, followed by the duet Miurica de Jesus and Gabriel Hilisavali, aged 8 and 13 years respectively, with the song "Ounona Aveshe" meaning "All the Children", with 251 points.

Carolina Monteiro, from central highland Bie province, was 3rd with 246 points.

The winner received one TV set, a DVD, one PC, a Cellphone, a guitar and a full scholl bag.

Representatives of the nation's 18 provinces took part in the festival that aimed to intill in children a love for music, peace, solidarity and patriotism.
