Asmara — The Eritrean-Swedish Forum, an association set up by Eritrean citizens residing in Sweden, donated about 4,500 counters in assistance to the Eritrean Electricity Corporation.

The head of purchasing department in the Corporation, Mr. Asmerom Fisehaye, explained that the association continues to extend assistance to the Corporation since 2002, and stressed the significance of the donated materials in backing up the ongoing endeavors to expand electricity supply.

He further indicated that the association has contributed about 50,000 counters that is worth over 10 million Nakfa over the past 8 years.

Moreover, the Eritrean-Swedish Forum has been extending various assistance to a number of government institutions and associations, according to reports.
