Asmara — Segen Eritrean Artists Group gave training to over 100 children and youths on general drafting and painting in the course of the summer vacation.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony yesterday, the secretary general of the Group, Artist Berhane Adonai, noted the vital importance of arts in documenting historical accounts and cultural heritage which has been practiced beginning in the days of the armed struggle for independence.

He further indicated that the training is aimed at nurturing skilled young artists and commended the dedication and interest of the trainees in the course.

The participants of the training expressed satisfaction with the training programs that would serve as a steppingstone for future progress.
