Huambo — The Centre Military Region 2010/2011 instruction period opened Wednesday in Huambo City, in an action aimed at training the soldiers to suppress any attempt to change the constitutional order.

The event, an initiative of the Centre Military Region administration, aims at elevating the combat and education, moral, civic, patriotic preparation of the soldiers, as well as psychological stability, through introduction of risky situation that demand personal and mental effort by observing every measure of security.

The commander of the Centre Military Region, general Matias Lima Coelho "Nzumbi", stressed that the action aims at instructing troops to fulfil combat, operative, patriotic education preparation, as well as obtaining animating results for the benefit of peace and well being of the population.

During the instruction period it will be discussed topics connected to fighting sexually transmitted diseases, excessive consumption of alcohol, among other topics.
