Angola: Over 800 Pilgrimages Travelling to Muxima

Sumbe — Over 800 catholics from Sumbe, Kwanza Sul province, are travelling today northwards to Bengo province for the Our Lady of Muxima pilgrimage this Saturday and Sunday, the local vicar Joaquim Matias told Angop.

According to the priest, the pilgrimage preparations exceeded the expectations stating that 16 buses were deployed to transport the pilgrims.

He said the faithfuls of the parishes of Jesus Christ King of the Universe, Our Lady of Conception and St. Francis of Assisi will be sheltered in tents adding that other parishioners from Porto Amboim, Rainha Santa Isabel of Gabela, Kibala and Libolo are also expected in the pilgrimage.
