Dar Es Salaam — The Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange (DSE) yesterday posted a lower turnover of 33.22m/- from 168,946 shares traded in 60 deals in comparison to the previous session which recorded a turnover of 86.58m/- from 422,518 shares traded in 96 deals.
During the session, foreign investors generated a turnover of 6,413,000/- from the purchase of 58,300 CRDB shares and a turnover of 9,450,000/- from the purchase of 13,500 NMB shares.
The CRDB counter had 146,795 shares traded at 110/- per share in 25 deals while NMB counter had 13,504 shares traded at 700/- per share in 9 deals.
The DSE Wednesday's market report indicates that TWIGA counter had 1,500 shares traded at 1,800/- cum dividend per share in 2 deals while TBL counter had 200 shares traded at 1,780/- per share in 2 deals and SWISSPORT counter had 1,259 shares traded at prices ranging from 610/- to T640/- per share in 5 deals.
The DCB counter had 4,488 shares traded at 280/- per share in 14 deals while TCC counter had 1,200 shares traded at 2,100/- per share in 3 deals.
At the close of the session, SWISSPORT counter had 23,600 shares on bid at prices ranging from 570/- to 620/- per share while SIMBA counter had 300 shares on bid at 1,880/- cum dividend per share and 6,200 shares on offer at 1,980/- cum dividend per share.
While DCB counter had 2,000 shares on bid at 280/- per share and 16,500 shares on offer at prices ranging from 285/- to 300/- per share, NMB counter had 270,700 shares on offer at prices ranging from 700/- to 740/- per share and the TWIGA counter had 10,400 shares on bid at prices ranging from 1,760/- to 1,800/- cum dividend per share while TOL counter had 5,300 shares on offer at 230/- per share.
The TCC counter had 14,100 shares on bid at 2,100/- per share. TBL counter had 1,600 shares on offer at 1,780/- and 1800/- per share while NICOL counter had 185,200 shares on offer at prices ranging from 245/-to 300/- per share, CRDB counter had 3,600 shares on bid at 110/- per share and 281,000 shares on offer at 115/- per share.
