Sierra Leone: Africell 'Find the Hidden Treasure' Winners Receive Prizes

Freetown — Winners of the Africell 'Find the Hidden Treasure' Ramadan promotion were in jubilant mood yesterday as they received their prizes from the company.

The presentation ceremony at the company's headquarters on 1 Pivot Lane, Wilberforce was witnessed by a large number of subscribers and journalists. Africell's head of section events and sponsorship, Arthur Kallon said the promotion was the first of its kind in the country, adding, "We always give out innovative promotions to our valued subscribers."

"We always want to make our subscribers happy. We will continue to give out the best in terms of innovative promotions and value added services," he said. Kallon said the 'Find the Hidden Treasure' promo was designed by the company to join Muslims in the country to observe this year's Ramadan, adding that subscribers need to send blank SMS to 777 in order to stand a chance of winning attractive prizes like generator, television, recharge cards and cash.

"The star prize for the promotion has been increased from Le40 million to Le60 million because there was no winner for last week," he revealed. Kallon congratulated the winners and urged them to project the good image of the company. One of the winners, Umaru Koroma thanked Africell and assured them that he would serve as ambassador and encouraged those who are not part of the Africell family to join as they are losing a lot.

"I give glory to God and Africell for making it happen. I will continue to stay loyal to them and also urge others to join the number one network," he stated. A total of 65 subscribers won cash prizes, whilst the others took home refrigerators, flat screen Plasma TV set and 2.7KVA generators.
