Angola: Minister Stresses Integrated Technological Training Centre

The Angolan minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology, Maria Cândida Teixeira, considered Thursday in Luanda the Integrated Centre of Technological Training (Cinfotec) as a key partner in vocational training centred on technical

courses, still in need in Angola.

Maria Teixeira made these statements at the opening of workshop on "Technological Professional Training in Angola: Realities and Perspectives", in the light of the 2nd anniversary of Cinfotec.

According to the minister, the Ministry of Public Administration, Employment and Social Security (Mapess) is committed, through Cinfotec, to the short, medium and long term technical courses, coupled with technical and professional programmes in the strategic fields of the country.

Maria Cândida Teixeira also said that the training centre is setting priority of professional training, by creating institutional conditions, human resources, aimed at stimulating to the innovation, through learning the transferring process of knowledge, for the management of the products and processes. Cinfotec was created on 02 September, 2008.
