Luanda — Angola will host an African chess summit on Saturday in Luanda, with the participation of 13 countries, to adopt a unified programme for the development of the sport in the continent.
Speaking to Angop on Friday, the secretary general of the Angolan Chess Federation (FAX), Abrão dos Reis, said that the event will be attended by representatives of Angola, Mozambique, Lesotho, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Sao Tome and Principe, Ghana,
Malawi, Nigeria, Gambia, Tunisia and DR Congo.
