Uganda: Fufa Reward Cranes Team With Sh30 Million

Kampala — Cranes had a million reasons to be excited on Saturday after walking off with a whooping sh30m reward for the historic win, writes Fred Kaweesi.

The entire Cranes that started against the Palancas Negras shared out sh1m each with the rest walking home with over sh0.7m. "They deserved that and even more for the job well done. It was an important win and I really want to thank the president (Yoweri Kaguta Museveni) for coming. It really motivated the players.

"If we can have government involved, nothing will stop this team from qualifying. All stake holders should also play their roles," FUFA boss Lawrence Mulindwa stated while handing over the prize package at Sky Hotel.
