Kampala — The Cranes will regroup on September 27 for their next Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Kenya's Harambee Stars.
FUFA publicist Rogers Mulindwa said yesterday that arrangements were on to ensure that all players are in camp by October 1.
"The technical committee is focused on also securing a good result in Kenya," explained Mulindwa after a meeting in Mengo that reviewed Saturday's match.
Among the inclusions for the next game will be left fullback Nestroy Kizito. The Partizan Belgrade player missed Uganda's opening qualifier on Saturday because of injury.
Among the issues FUFA discussed was a possibility of the match being staged in the humid coastal town of Mombasa.
"Whether the match is in Nairobi or Mombasa, we want to be prepared," noted Mulindwa. Kenya, whose football is under two rivalling bodies, is reported to be divided on the venue of the match.
Those who want the match in Nairobi argue that the country's football fraternity is mainly centred around the capital city.
Kenya will be desperately hunting for a win after opening its campaign with an away loss to Guinea Bissau.
A good result for Uganda in Kenya will on the other hand put the Cranes in charge of the four team group 10.
Uganda made a flying start by defeating fancied Angola 3-0 at Mandela national Stadium, Namboole.
