Eritrea: Minister Conducts Seminar to Citizens in Perth City

Asmara — The Minister of Energy and Mines, Mr. Ahmed Haj Ali, conducted seminar to Eritrean nationals residing in the Australian city of Perth, on the objective situation in the Homeland and the region, as well as the implementation of development programs and the achievements being registered.

He noted that the wide-ranging development programs being implemented through the coordinated endeavors of the Government, people and members of the Defense Force are registering commendable progress. Mr. Ahmed further explained that the speedy progress being witnessed in Eritrea as regards the mining sector is attracting investors.

Lauding the active participation of Eritrean citizens abroad in the implementation of development programs and rebuffing enemy acts of hostility, the Minister called on them to reinforce such contribution.

Moreover, the Minister pointed out that the Eritrean government is exerting unremitting efforts towards promoting peace and stability in the region in general and the Horn of Africa in particular, in addition to fostering cooperation among one another. In this respect, he stated that such a stance on the part of the Eritrean government is being adopted by a number of forces.

The seminar participants commended the endeavors being made by the Government, the people and EDF members. They also voiced determination to fulfill what is expected of them.
