Luanda — The minister of Culture, Rosa Cruz e Silva, will pay a working visit on Tuesday to the central Benguela Province, where she will assess the functioning of the projects linked to the cultural sector.

According to a communiqué, Rosa Cruz e Silva and a delegation comprising national directors and technicians of the Culture Ministry will discuss the development of cultural activities in the province, especially the religious phenomenon, libraries, vernacular languages and historical records, cinema (revitalization and rehabilitation of their infrastructures).

During the two-day visit, she will also appraise the sector of cultural industry, cultural action, theatre, dance, music, plastic arts and preservation of cultural heritage with special emphasis on museums, monuments and historical sites.
