A politician from Delta North senatorial district, Mr Dom Okonma, has advised the President Goodluck Jonathan, to make his political ambition known urgently. Okonma disclosed this in a chat with journalists at the Murtala Muhammad Airport, Lagos on his way to Abuja for a political engagement.

Okonma said that although keeping quiet over his political future gives Nigerians the impression that the President is a thoughtful person who does not rush into things, the President should clear the air of uncertainty and speculation over his political ambition since political opportunists may exploit the vacuum to consolidate their stranglehold on the nation.

Okonma who disclosed that although he did not win the House of Representative election in Delta State owing to a general lack of credibility of the erstwhile electoral process his people are still calling on him to contest again, especially as Dr. Jonathan has put in place a credible machinery for transparency, declaring that this time around victory is sure for him.
