Sierra Leone: Salone Winger On Trial At Bradford City

Freetown — Sierra Leone England based winger, Malvin Kamara is currently undergoing trial with English League II side, Bradford City.

The ex- Huddersfield Town winger turned out for Bradford City reserves in a clash with Nottingham Forest's second string over the weekend which Bradford lost 1-0 after they conceded a penalty in the 89th minute.

The 26 year-old was released by Huddersfield Town in May 2009 after more than 40 appearances in his two year stint at the Galpharm.

After an unsuccessful trial at Port Vale, Kamara was linked up with Conference National side Barrow but left the club in December 2010.

The English-born Sierra Leonean international started his career with Wimbledon/Milton Keynes Dons, before moving on to Cardiff City in 2006. The next year he switched to Port Vale, before ending up at Huddersfield Town. He has over 150 appearances to his name in the Football League.

In June 2007, he picked up his first cap for the national team, Leone Stars for the 2008 African Cup of Nations qualification match against Togo in Freetown, which Leone Stars lost 1-0.
