Secretary, Federal Capital Territory Health and Human Services Secretariat, Dr. Precious Gbeneol, has called on residents of the territory, particularly those in the area councils to imbibe basic hygiene conditions as a measure to guard against cholera infection.
The secretary, who gave the advice while speaking with LEADERSHIP in her office, said that observing basic hygiene rules such as washing hands after using the toilet, washing fruits and vegetables properly before consuming them and proper disposal of waste and feaces were very important to check the spread of the infection.
