Nigeria: Police Arrest Two Escapee Inmates From Bauchi Prison

Two men believed to be among hundreds of inmates who escaped when suspected Islamists attacked a prison in Bauchi State recently have been arrested in an area notorious for religious violence, Leadership gathered.

A military task force arrested them Friday after a tip-off that they were on their way to Jos, said military a spokesman, Lieutenant Colonel Kingsley Umoh.
