Angola: Rehabilitation of Stadium Re-Launches Sports in Sumbe

Sumbe — The governor of Kwanza Sul province, Serafim do Prado, said Saturday, that rehabilitation of Hoyi ya Henda Municipal Stadium will help re-launching sports in the region.

Serafim do Prado made this statement at a dinner with a team of participants at the tournament and guests, stressing that soccer lovers, sports agents and clubs are called to develop programmes for the development of soccer, aimed at searching new talents.

The governor of Kwanza Sul urged sports agents to create programmes according to the reality of each region in order to develop the sports.

Hoyi ya Henda Stadium was re-inaugurated Friday by the Youth and Sports minister, Gonçalves Muandumba. It was the venue of international soccer tournament, which counted with participation of teams like 1º de Agosto (under 20), Kabuscorp do Palanca, Sporting de Portugal (under 19) and Recreativo do Libolo (winners of four-team tournament).
