Uganda: Indian Girl Donates to Karamoja Children

Kampala — About 21 Karimojong children have received a blanket and a sweater each, as part of the 2,000 children to benefit from an Indian girl's donation.

The donation from Tanya Mistry, 16, was received by the First Lady and state minister for Karamoja affairs, Janet Museveni. The consignment was delivered by Kuppuswamy of the Shapoorji Pallonji Company from India, who was accompanied by Uganda's high commissioner to India and South East Asia ambassador Nimisha Madhvani at State House Entebbe.
