Local investors are emerging as the main drivers of the Nairobi Stock Exchange (NSE), a trend analysts attribute to the improving Kenyan economy.
Since February this year, brokers have recorded increased trading activities from locals, helping steer the total equity turnover to Sh16.2 billion in August, the highest figure this year, compared to Sh11.4 billion in July, a 42 per cent growth.
