Freetown — A 17-man delegation of mainly youth leaders and community representatives from the African Minerals, AML's flagship iron ore project in Tonkolili, northern Sierra Leone, has returned after a week-long tour of developed mines in Ghana.
The team, conducted by staff of the African Mining Services (AMS), visited high profiled companies and institutions among them the Mantrac Accra Office, Sunyani and Takoradi mines, the Newmont Ahafo Site, the University of Mines and Technology in Tarkwa, the Damang projects and the AMS Bankyim office.
