Johannesburg — THE future of Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) CEO Colin Jordaan, who is nearing the end of his three-year contract, has been cast into doubt after the Department of Transport advertised his position last week.
While section 85 of the Civil Aviation Act, passed into law last year, now requires that the post be advertised to allow any new candidates to apply or be nominated, it is feared that if Mr Jordaan were to step down the organisation would again be plunged into disarray.
