Lagos — The National Chairman of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Dr Okwesilieze Nwodo, yesterday explained that the party would be guided by the provisions of its constitution in the screening of aspirants for elected political offices.
Nwodo, who spoke through his media aide Ike Abonyi in a telephone interview, stated that the PDP Constitution did not specify that it should seek the assistance of security and anti-corruption agencies before screening aspirants seeking for politicial offices on its platform.
