Angola: Luanda to Gain New Hotels By the End of Year

The country's capital city by the end of this year might have more than 700 bedrooms as result of the inauguration of several hotel units, announced Wednesday the deputy minister of Hotels and Tourism, Paulino Baptista.

Speaking to ANGOP, the government official said that as example two new undertakings, whose construction is nearly finished, are the "Diamante" and "Sana" hotels.

He added that besides those, other hotels are predicted to be inaugurated in Luanda and in the provinces of Benguela and Huíla, under the policy of the executive to expand and improve hotels network all over the country.

In light of the activities to celebrate World Tourism's day, marked on September 27, Paulino Baptista inaugurated this month two new hotels namely "Horizonte Novo" located in Viana District and "Calor Tropical" in Samba.
