Harare — Ireland got their consolation and reclaimed 10th spot on the ICC rankings when they rallied to beat Zimbabwe by 20 runs in the third and final One-Day International of the Coca-Cola Challenge series at Harare Sports Club yesterday.
Zimbabwe's suspicious batting was their biggest undoing as they fell for 224 runs in 47,5 overs, chasing a victory target of 245 runs. The defeat cost them two points while Ireland gained four, to swap places again in the rankings table inside two days.
