Nigeria: National Assembly Takes Strong Security Measures

The National Assembly management has introduced strong security measures to prevent possible bomb attack as part of overall proactive measures to secure lawmakers, staff and other persons that carry out their daily activities in the parliament.

Briefing newsmen on the new security measures, Deputy Clerk to the National Assembly (DCNA), Mr. Olumuyiwa Adejokun said beginning from today shuttle buses will no longer be allowed to convey passengers into the National Assembly to prevent free movement of people to the complex.
