Kampala — A resident of Kalongo Miti zone in Luweero town council has dragged the Government to court demanding sh34m in damages and compensation for crops he says were destroyed by the army.
Isaac Nanzuka said the crops were damaged between December 27, 2007 and June 18, 2009 when a UPDF unit pitched camp on his 10-acre piece of land at Nakkazi hill in the town council.
