Kenya: Near Disaster At Likoni Ferry After Havoc

Nairobi — Unruly passengers on Thursday evening nearly caused a disaster at the Likoni channel after one of the ferries stalled resulting in a delay.

Trouble started when mv Harambee stalled at about 6 pm on one of the island ramps. This forced mv Kwale to be recalled from the main ramp to tag and tow it to the Kenya Ferry Services (KFS) jetty.
