Johannesburg — PACKAGE manufacturer Astrapak described its results for the six months to August as "disappointing", saying yesterday that it should have performed better given the volume growth seen in the first six months and the benefits of initiatives introduced in previous periods.
The group, which manufactures and distributes an extensive range of rigid and flexible plastic packaging products, said management is in the process of implementing corrective measures to deal with the issues that contributed to the poor performance.
