Gambia: Khaled Ibn Waleed Smiles

Three students, Fatoumatta Muhammed Conteh, Fatim Jallow and Halima Marena of Khaled Ibn Waleed, an Arabic school located along Kairaba Avenue have emerged second in the Arabic school examination.

This was revealed over the weekend in a prize-giving ceremony at the school ground. In an interview with Daily Observer, Hatim Raslan, the managing director of Saad M. Rasla, who is also proprieto, described the school as non-profit making and was achieving some of the objectives for which it was set up by contributing towards the development of the country since it was established.
