Nigeria: Boko Haram Gives Conditions for Peace

Maiduguri — Members of the Boko Haram sect have given the government five conditions to be implemented if peace is to be restored to Borno State.

In a British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) Hausa service programme monitored in Maiduguri, a person who gave his name as Malam Ali and claimed to be a Boko Haram member and spokesman of the group in Maiduguri, said for peace to reign in Borno they had given five conditions which have to be implemented by government.
