Kampala — Central African nations affected by the activities of Uganda's notorious rebel group Lords Resistance Army (LRA) have agreed to form a joint military force to strengthen their fight against the group.

The region also agreed on the steps required to declare the LRA a terrorist group, instead of a rebel group, in line with the relevant instruments of the African Union (AU).

This step will enable the region to mobilise support from the international community to better fight the group.

The AU will serve as the central organ, to coordinate the running of the joint military force that was agreed upon during a meeting held to discuss ways of dealing with the group in the Central A frica Republic (CAR), attended by President Françoise Bozize, the AU said in a communique Satu rday.

The two-day (13-14 Oct) regional ministerial meeting was held in Bangui, and was attended by ministers, civilian and military leaders from countries affected by LRA activities, including CAR, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Sudan and Uganda.

The ministers agreed to take various steps, including military measures against, the Ugandan group, which traverses the Eastern and the Central African region, kidnapping children and women and recruiting chi ld soldiers, although the group denies involvement in such activities.

The military force would have a Joint Operations Centre, bringing together officers from the affected countries to facilitate the sharing of information and intelligence.

The Centre will coordinate the design and conduct of military operations on the field against the group.

The joint brigade will act against the LRA and stop its criminal activities, in addition to deploying joint border patrols of affected countries, while also working on improving communications in areas affected by LRA.

The United States has recently pledged to take steps aimed at curbing the activities of the LRA, under the leadership of Joseph Kony, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court (ICC) for war crimes.

The ministers called for the appointment of a Special Envoy of the President of the AU Commission to coordinate efforts against the LRA, facilitate the engagement and support international community and undertake all other peace missions.

    Reasonable people may wonder:

    1) Museveni boasts that he can dispatch any number of elite Ugandan soldiers into Somalia to deal with the Al-Shahaab. If he is thus potent and if he has the resources he boasts that he has, why doesn't he first deal with the fire burning his backyard first?

    Why does he need help?

    2) Museveni is all full of fire and brimstone when he thinks of slaughtering the Al-Shahaab of Somalia. Does he lose his b*lls when the name Kony is mentioned?

    3) Museveni raped, tortured, murdered and mutilated his way into power in Uganda. Is he bothered when someone else employs his tried-and-true techniques to similarly wrestle power from him? Consistency and fairness dictates that in the same breathe that declares Kony a terrorist, then it must similarly declare Museveni a terrorist.

[Or else we will perceive the age-old imperial scheme that would eagerly seek to haul (black) African leaders to the ICC while protecting (white) Western leaders and individuals who commit widespread, even more gruesome, crimes against humanity.

    .

    4) Damned Ugandans get more destitute and desperate day-by-day - sustained largely the remittances from the diaspora fleeing Museveni's murderous goon squads. Museveni may as well remember that Genghis Khan's days of glory came to an end. And those of his blood-soaked hero Mobutu. And Bokassa. Does Museveni wish to live forever?

[Museveni has lived his adult life by the sword - and it is said that those who live by the sword shall die, eh, peacefully.]

[Guess: Is AFRICOM behind the nerve shown by these Africa's dictators? What would be their response - in absence of "international help"?]

    .

[Let it not be forgotten that, under this white-controlled AU (Africa's eUnuchs), Africa's freedom fighters of the last century may have qualified as "terrorists" - to be slaughtered by whites in search of resources. Indeed, it is known that Mandela was classified as a terrorist.

The campaign to slaughter natives rages and intensifies in West and East Africa - monitored, fanned and stoked by the whites - through their proxies. No a squeak from the AU, UN, EU, USA. The whites - who raped, tortured and murdered our ancestors - and commandeered our lands and resources - are now given the green light by compromised/scared African "leaders" to murder Africans.

Africa slips even faster unto damnation and death.

    .

The African survived on the African landscape for ages. So what? So did the Aztecs and the Incas and the North/South American Indians and Aus indigenes survive on theirs. But they were exterminated by these same whites - under similar circumstances and MO/method of extermination.

At what stage do a people realise that their extermination is nigh - if ever?

We are living through a requiem for the Africa's indigenes - as orchestrated by Obama. Ward. Carson. Rice. Through it all you may have a chance to ponder and compare the wisdom and instinct for survival in Jews and Africans: Would a Jewish leader and other Jews in diaspora prosecute a campaign to break up Israel; commandeer resources in Israel even as the Jews starve; and exterminate the Jews in Israel?

    Hint: "Cursedness".]

it is about time something is done about Kony and his merry men, after all the atrocities they have committed...we have finally woken up..Thanks to the AU and the countries that are willing to help stop this Satanic person. All the best.

" .. .we have finally woken up .."

YOU may be awake, but you are clueless - a state that is just as useless.

If you hate Kony - then you must hate Museveni as well. During the decades that Museveni waged a Kony-style guerilla war and spewed Marxist dogma, slaughtering his own people by the hundreds of thousands was Museveni's pastime.

    It is - still.
