Namibia: Social Security Commission Approved 'Dodgy Claim'

A CLAIM of close to N$90 000 which, according to its own records originated in 1996 and on three dates in 2007, was paid out by the Social Security Commission (SSC) last year.

Acting chief executive officer (CEO) David Keendjele yesterday admitted that the claim, which he had approved personally, was "definitely" a strange claim.
