South Africa: Unemployment Leads to Business Start Ups - Study

Johannesburg — Unemployment is the main cause of people starting their own businesses, according to a recent study conducted by Statistics SA.

The survey of Employers and the Self-Employed 2009, which was released on Tuesday, states that almost two out of every three persons listed unemployment as their primary reason for going into business.
