Nigeria: Northern Consensus - Youth Group Roots for Saraki

Maiduguri — Governor Abubakar Bukola Saraki should be considered as north's consensus presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) because of his records of achievements in Kwara State, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Youths/Students Vanguard has said.

President of the youth group, Comrade Abdulhamid Muhammad told Daily Trust in Maiduguri yesterday, that as a youth himself, Saraki's vibrant revolution in the agriculture sector in Kwara, amongst others, has brought succour to many Nigerian youths, especially with the numerous jobs created.

The group argued that Saraki's success in the agriculture sector and shift away from the over-dependence on the oil sector is unrivalled and urged Nigerian youths to support his campaign.
