Nigeria: Court Restrains Jamb From Patronising Firms

Justice Okechukwu Okeke of the Federal High Court in Lagos has restrained the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) from retaining the services of Sidmach Technologies Limited and Electronic Test Company Limited for the registration of candidates for the 2011 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

The judge also barred Sidmach Technologies and Electronic Test from carrying out registration of candidates for the 2011 UTME exams or any other year pending the determination of a suit filed by some aggrieved companies.
